1. เรียก DBCA ขึ้นมา
Unix : $ORACLE_HOME/bin/dbca
Windows : Start --> Program --> Oracle -->Creation and Migration Tools -->Database Configuration Assistant
2.หน้า Welcome กด Next
3.เลือก Create a Database กด Next
4.เลือกประเภท database ที่จะสร้าง ในที่นี้เลือก General Propose กด Next
5.ตั้งชื่อให้กับ database Global Database Name : <SID>.<Domain name> SID : ชื่อ database
กด Next
6. เลือก Configre the Database with Enterprise Manager
เลือก Use Database Control for Database Management
กด Next
7. เลือก Use the same password for All account
แล้ว ตั้ง Password ในช่อง Password , Confirm Password และ ต้องจำ Password เอาไว้ให้ดี เพราะจะเป็น password ของ user SYS,SYSTEM ซึ่งจ้องใช้จัดการฐานข้อมูล
กด Next
8.หน้า Storage Option เลือก File System กด Next
9.เลือก Drive,Path ที่เราจะกำหนดให้เก็บไฟล์ฐานข้อมูลได้ โดยเลือก Use Common Location for All Database Filess
แล้ว กดปุ่ม Browse เพื่อเลือก Path สำหรับเก็บไฟล์ฐานข้อมูล
